Real Madrid supervisor Zinedine Zidane has warned Barcelona his aspect are in “good shape and” 100% mentally prepared “ahead of the La Liga El Clásico clash from both sides on Wednesday night at the Camp Nou stadium.
Zidane has said Los Blancos have ‘guns’ to unleash against Barcelona despite Ernesto Valverde’s men having Lionel Messi on their squad.
Zidane’s men head to the game after a 1-1 draw with Valencia in La Liga on Sunday.
On Tuesday, during his pre-match press conference, Zidane was quoted by the official Real Madrid website: “We are entering the match in good shape. We’ve been playing well for a while now and getting results in all departments, both mentally and in terms of football.
“We are enjoying a good spell. We’re all focused on tomorrow night’s game. In games like this, you have to perform your best throughout the 90 minutes. I hope it’s a great game ”.
“It’s a pleasure to enjoy, no matter what. We start the game 11 against 11 and know what we are up against: a very good team, who have shown that they have been just that for quite some time.
“We know they have [Lionel] Messi, but we also have our own weapons. I want to see a good football game against a well-behaved Barcelona team.
“We know what the game is going to be like and the outcome is not important, the important thing is that we perform for 90 minutes, that’s how we’re going to have fun. We are 100% ready. “
The kick-off time for the match is 8 p.m.
