The well being context doesn’t hamper the outpouring of solidarity. Proof of that is that the Oléron golf membership affiliation (AGCO) organized an 18-hole Stableford competition at the finish of July, which introduced collectively 49 contributors. The profits from this competition have been donated this weekend in full to the SNSM (National Society for Rescue at Sea) of La Cotinière.
The prizes have been awarded with the participation of Jean-François Vitet, president of the SNSM de la Cotinière, and his spouse Françoise, deputy mayor of Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron. “I had the pleasure of giving him a check in the amount of 700 euros in the name of AGCO”, feedback the president Martine Gaslonde.
All the prizes given to the gamers have been on the theme of the sea and had been acquired from native companions: Azulile, Cocoa Gliss, La Lumineuse, Atlantic Deco and of course at the SNSM museum store. “It was the first time that we have organized this somewhat special competition and given the success it has won, it will feature prominently in the summer competitions of the coming years,” added the president. And, in hoped-for occasions, extra serene change into a preferred manifestation of the territory.
