GRAVALETA (302-photo) will be at first of the fifth Martha's Prize, Tuesday, in Vincennes (R-1). Meeting together with his coach Christian Douillet (By Stéphane Davy):
Christian, how do you view the most recent outings of your boarder?
It met my expectations the final time at Vincennes (observe, 2nd on April 9). She completed very effectively that day, narrowly failing for victory. Previously, in Lisieux, his driver needed to let the long run winner cross after a lap. He took the mare again. She did not prefer it and responded with a fault.
What will be its primary benefits?
The mare has progressed since performing unshod. She enjoys velocity programs. It has simply “walked” 1'11”2 on the proposed route. It has recovered effectively from its final efforts and will enter this race in good situation.
We really feel assured…
We should respect the opposition however, certainly, the mare will have serious arguments to put ahead. Especially because it inherited a great quantity behind the autostart. Above all, I hope that she will give you the chance to profit from a rhythmic race, and so far as potential, from a hidden course. She is aware of how to go quick within the final 300 meters.
