Roger Guillaumin, 66, from Isérois and initially from the Loire, is at the begin of the 6D lacs, a 28 km path and 1500 m drop in La Plagne this Friday July 29 : “I feel like I’m still 40 years old, surely faculties at the start, I don’t know where they come from, because my parents aren’t athletic. There is also work, weeks where I would run 100 km, it was not uncommon for me a few years ago.“
For him, there isn’t a query of spending every week with out competitors: “my records, it is 16 marathons in 16 weekends in a row. I have always played sports, even as a teenager. But after 30 years, I started competitions. I have hardly stopped for 37 years.“
This 12 months, 400 individuals are collaborating in the 6D lakes. At twenty second kilometer, the climb is hard for the former mechanic trainer, however he rapidly regains his stride:“I went up relatively gently the first part and I had a good run, I did that 5-6 minutes more than four years ago, so I’m happy.“
