This Sunday, in Maidières
After the road or nature races, Maidières will be entitled to its trail. And, as long as it is, the organizers do not want to usurp the name: “We needed to keep away from falling into nature races, however searching for elevation was not a straightforward job”, explains Marie-Claire Peltier of the AS Cazenove. Fan of ultra races, the local Jean-Michel Reigner traced the two courses of the day. With 90 pre-registrations, the crowd is struggling to take off but also augurs new progress: “We like to federate and, since there at the moment are three path conferences round Pont-à-Mousson, it could be clever to create an emulation and to arrange a problem”, says Marie-Claire Peltier.

This Sunday in Landrecourt
For this fifth version, the Sautée du Franc-ban can rely on the return of the 2018 winner of the 16 km, Emmanuel Presson. A distance the place the Verdunoise Lisa Vogrig must also play the main roles in an occasion that had not been run since 2019.

The Vosges perpetuate their standing as a trail-running land by internet hosting two conferences this weekend which have been deleted from the calendars since 2019 following the well being disaster. First, close to Mirecourt, with the Luthiers Trail typed nature race (8 km at 9.45 a.m. and 14 km at 10 a.m.), then with the Medianitrail of Moyenmoutier (10:30 a.m.: 13 km, €12; 9 a.m.: 25 km, €19).
