The professionals of the “East Coast Pro Tour” will be back at the Sainte-Marguerite Golf Club for a third consecutive year. Twenty players, including Septilien Jean-Pierre Morin, will participate in this provincial tournament from September 2 to 4.
In teams of two, golfers will play three rounds in the Mulligan, Coogen and Two Ball / Best Ball format. Prizes of $ 25,000 will be awarded, including $ 7,000 to the winning duo. Some 80 members of the Sept-Îles club will have the chance to participate in a friendly competition with a professional.
“We are very happy once again this year to offer people in the region the opportunity to admire professional golf,” said Club Sainte-Marguerite president Michel Lachance.
Seven main partners make this event possible in Sept-Îles, including Aluminerie Alouette, ArcelorMittal, Quality Inn, the City of Sept-Îles and the band council of Uashat mak Maliotenam. Sixteen professional golfers will participate under the “Mulligan two balls, better balls” formula.
