At European stage, he’s a member of the government of BEUC (European Bureau of Consumers’ Unions). He is a specialist in public legislation and teaches at the University of Burgundy.

The group notably introduced a lawsuit earlier than the Tribunal de Grande Instance in opposition to Facebook, Google and Twitter for “abusive” and “illegal” practices in phrases of knowledge confidentiality and their lack of ability to modify their confidentiality insurance policies and their situations of service regardless of repeated warnings and months of negotiations. The UFC – Que Choisir thus criticized the situations of service for being “incomprehensible, illegible, filled with hyperlinks… and sometimes referring to pages in English”. Their assertion accused the corporations of shirking their obligations: “If social media networks are particularly greedy in data, they make a regime in matters of responsibility”.
