The principle of FootGolf is simple, basically it's golf, but the little ball is replaced by a soccer ball, and golf clubs by spikes.
A weekend at the Las Martines golf course
This original sport is stopping off near Toulouse on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2020. More precisely at the golf course of Las Martines, in L'Isle-Jourdain (Gers), half an hour from Toulouse.
The FootGolf Cup arrives for a 26e Championship day which promises to be crucial for the rest of the season.
Former Ligue 1 pros will be present
All the leaders of the general classification will be present on the green, including Antonio Balestra (reigning French Champion and 1er of the general classification), Cédric Bonnot (champion of France 2018 and 2nd in the general classification), Damien Dyrdol (3e overall), and Kevin Place (4e of the rank).
Note the participation of three former professional football players: Benjamin Gavanon (player of the French FootGolf team, moved to Ligue 1 at Amiens and Nancy), Ludovic Obraniak (French FootGolf team, ex Polish international, passed through Lille or Metz) and Camel Meriem (French FootGolf team passed by Monaco and the French team).
