Four hours, such shall be the length of the journey from HUGO DU CHATELET (206) earlier than participating in Maurienne value, Friday, at Lyon-Parilly (R-5). His coach Laurent Gout (picture) delivered his impressions to our journalist Stéphane Davy :
“He is a former resident of Yannick-Alain Briand. The horse joined my stable recently. It had harness races on its program but the entry was an autostart, which did not benefit it. Also, I opted for a race under saddle, recently at Vivaux. He has the looks to stand out. The horse also won well that day, despite a fault in front of the stands. I have since made adjustments. He also saw the osteopath. Everything is looking good. It will be even better than when it won at Vivaux. Especially since he now has a bit of a job under the saddle. You should also know that it is not the most comfortable in turns. It will therefore be better on a wider ring, like that of Parilly. His jockey knows him and will remain vigilant in the turns. The horse has action. Do not hesitate to “trip” with him, let him go in his trian. It stays quite cold but it has staying power and doesn't let go. Wise, he has the means to fight for victory.”
