A semi-detached from Chemin du Golf was damaged by fire on March 27.
According to Michel Ménard, director of the Valleyfield fire safety service, he mentioned that the sappers were called around 5:30 p.m. They noticed a fire in the basement of the residence. This caused damage to the interior and exterior of the home. Ménard said the fire was electrical in nature and was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
Emergency services left around 9 p.m. None of the occupants of the house were injured.
