All motocross aficionados had highlighted this weekend on their agenda, as the return to competitors was eagerly awaited on their half. So they’ll rejoice, as a result of Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March 2022 on the circuit of the Tertre valley, it’s roughly 350 pilots who meet them.
“It’s a beautiful set. We are very satisfied, since it is the recovery race. We did not know exactly how many pilots would be present, ”says Henri Rouxel, the vice-president of the Moto-Club of Dinan.
350 pilots anticipated
On Saturday, in the youth classes, some of the drivers will participate in their very first races. Per week earlier than the competitors, registrations are already properly underway.
“In 50 cm³, 65 cm³ and 85 cm³, there should be at least fifty participants. In 85 cm³, Nolan Vittes, second in the Brittany championship in 2020 will be present as will Kevin Legall. Among the veterans, 31 pilots are currently registered with among others Christophe Leray, pilot of our club or Sébastien Launay, and for the club trophy it is at least 40 pilots who will be on the starting line, including ten Moto Club Dinannais, with Thomas Leray and Benjamin Salmon. »
Mordred, Werle, Chastel…
The following day, Sunday March 20, this will be the real start of the Brittany Championship in the 125 cc and Open category.
In 125 cm³, 70 pilots were registered at the start of the week. “We will find drivers such as Rémy Mordret, 2020 Brittany champion or Mattéo Chastel. »
In the queen category, the Open, 120 pilots had made an appearance. “Dorian Werle will be present. There will also be the 2020 Brittany vice-champion, Gregory Maréchal, but also François Dore, Julien Duhamel and Vincent Corre. The suspense remains as to the participation of Théo Roptin, who has not yet made it official. »
Be that as it may, it is under a bright sun that these events should take place with great fights to give the “the” to a long-awaited season.
